Me again. I'm seeing what tables inside the table look like. It might be starting to get a little complex though. I can't figure out how to remove the padding in each cell without putting style="padding:0" for every cell. The attributes cellpadding and cellspacing aren't doing anything, not in Firefox at least. Protocol Version
I think we need to make it clear what protocol version each syntax is for, and list the different syntaxes for each protocol. But the page as it is now isn't the neatest thing in the world either. invincible 18:45, 15 Jan 2006 (NZDT)
A page for each command
Wouldn't it be better to have a page for each command? Then we also don't need a specialized TOC, just a overview page of the commands... And it would easier allow a template for each command (including, as said, with what syntax to use for what protocol). Anoko 07:50, 23 Dec 2006 (NZDT)
Major rewrite
I moved all the commands to different pages under the namespace of Command:
If anyone is unhappy about the changes, please contact me ( samdunster ATTHE gmail DORT com ) and i'll be happy to put in the time to change it all back.
I've also been adding my own little descriptions about each command. If someone could read through them and check them through that'd be great. I'm not an expert on MSNP, but i've written some apps for it.
I hope you enjoy the new layout as much as I do, I've been wanting to do this for a while.
One last note, if one of the admins could update the skin/CSS so that the lower subheadings are a bit more disctinct, that'd make it even easier.
I've made the command name, and the protocol version main heading, and then it goes down from there
ie:
= USR - MSNP8-MSNP14 = == Notification server == === Initial USR to server === ==== Description ==== ==== Parameters ==== == Switchboard == ... = USR - MSNP15 = ...
If everyone could adopt a similar style when writing these pages, that'd be really cool. See USR for an example.
